Yet another glorious stay here, this time not only were the sheep endlessly entertaining with their antics we were treated to an air show of four Apache helicopters!!

This place offers tranquility (apart from one relentless cuckoo) amongst stunning scenery run by friendly welcoming hosts.

Captured a glorious sunset and night sky taken at 1.30am.

Peaceful, tucked away little farm campsite alongside a pretty little brook. Very casual and low-key setup. Ablution facilities are basic: outside tap at one end of the site, and two fairly intimate long drop toilets in a single crudely converted wooden horse trailer at the other end of the site. Sheep and other farm animals roam the site which might be an issue if you have excitable doggos like ours. No rubbish bins anywhere on the site. The tranquility of the setting is lovely, but I do understand where some other reviews are coming from when they've said they'd rather wild camp than spend £10 a head for what's provided.

Lovely friendly place to stay, beautiful pitch by stream, very basic toilets but that wasn't an issue, friendly hosts will definitely go again

Very basic but peaceful site. No showers or hot water, only 5 pitches but quiet and green, next to a lovely river. Loved it

Simple, quite place to have a night away at. Fresh water and a porta potty and nowt else in facilities. Pitch is in a field of sheep next to the river. Different but bloody marvellous.

Magical place with such a relaxed vibe. Simple facilities, tap and Portapotty, but the burn is lovely for a dip and we lay watching the stars and the fire burn down for hours. Left totally refreshed.

Excellent if like us you wanted to go camping in the countryside but with the safety of a campsite. We don't like fields full of tents so this was perfect!! Had use of their bathroom and our own pitch along the river as is standard here. Wonderful setting. Fire pits and bbq's, animals all around us. The friendly duck was hilarious sitting on the gate to say good morning to everyone. We had use of a kayak which was fantastic! The couple that run it were so friendly and welcoming. Definitely going again lots.
