This is a typical Thousand Trails campground.

The RV spots are too close together. They’re also not quite level. If it rains you’ll be dealing with a lot of mud. Thankfully, when we were there, mid October; It did not rain at all, but I can see how that would be a big pain in the butt if it did. Our site was half gravel and half dirt.

We had good electrical and water hook ups, however, the sewer connection did not have decent threads so that could be a problem.

We did not have any problems with staff. Everyone that we dealt with was friendly and helpful. However, we did have the water go out for a long time and nobody really connected with us, we had to call the office a few times to find out what was going on.

And, I don’t know what is wrong with people, but there were a lot of loud unruly dogs. I think people with dogs that bark nonstop should be kicked out of the park. We love a nice quiet, peaceful, camping experience, and with loud barking dogs, several days were not.

Roads were about half paved and half gravel. It’s a pretty good place to ride your bike around as it is mostly level, but you have to watch out for speed bumps. ⚠️

Swimming pool is only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Some of the restrooms look like they’ve been remodeled in the last 10 years, but they don’t have hot water, just automatic cold water to wash your hands. Also, those ancient stupid blow dryers that don’t do a thing. I much prefer paper towels! So if you use their restrooms, remember to bring your own towel.

We had decent cell phone reception, but it wasn’t too great. It was a nice break from the Internet and screens.

While you’re in the area, be sure to check out the Arrowood farm/brewery. It’s a great local place to grab a beer or cocktail and hang out for a few hours.

This is a great RV park. The campsite we had, literally backed up to a creek. It's just peaceful to just sit at your campsite and listen to the water flowing. It's easy to say that the staff takes pride in making sure the park is well maintained. ||Bethel Woods (The grounds where the original Woodstock was held) is about an hour drive. There is a museum there with the history of Woodstock. They also have an amphitheater that showcase mainstream artists like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rod Stewart, just to name a few. Many good fishing streams all within an hour's drive. Wlii definitely be coming back.

We were in a very quiet part of the campground surrounded by permanent houses/trailers.||Campground was clean and there was a live band on Saturday night. Snack bar was open but dated. Overall it was a relaxing weekend. The RV site was well equipped with water 30 amp electric and sewer. Dump station available if needed.

Good services, a bit crowded and smelled a bit of sewer at the tent sites. Also water, while potable, tastes strongly of sulphur. Bringing own water is advised. Good place to crash for a night if needed. Very close to cool attractions. Staff very friendly. Not particularly scenic or special site but good if you have kids and don’t care about quiet or privacy

Definitely not the best choice. There are no portable toilets on the property so you have only one relatively close one to the sites. Its pretty busy in the day time. ||Also we got a lot of ticks. ||Plus with the last second Fire ban we had very cold and hungry stay.||For RV and cabins it is probably not too bad but for Tent camping it is definitely not great.

We reserved a full hookup spot for our camper months in June for an October trip. Found out that the sites are first come first serve. When we got there, the had no full hookup sites left. The site we got had a sewer connection but apparently it was out of order. Would have given 5 stars if we actually had what we reserved. Bathrooms were clean, camp store was nice. I would probably go again.

The attitude of whoever was working the office 10/21 at 4:30pm will keep me from coming back here. We left in a hurry and my husband forgot to put the card with the gate code in our truck (totally our own fault). He hit the button to get in and the lady on the speaker rudely said “you know we are about to close and if you don’t have that you can’t get in right?” It was a simple mistake on our end and we easily could have parked and walked in and got the code as our spot is right by the office. I am not at all saying the vehicle cards aren’t important, but her attitude was extremely uncalled for.

They strive for five and they deserve it! Friendly staff, great atmosphere and super fun activities for every one of all ages! I stayed in a cabin with my family and it was so clean and extremely well maintained. We will definitely be back next year but hopefully for a longer stay.
