Army Lake Camp has beautiful green grass and tall oak trees. The grounds are awesome. The camp includes a large dining building, air conditioned Chapel, several spacious buildings for sleeping. The lake includes a dock for boating and swimming. Fishing is very active with several pan fish and some larger fish. Above all it is a sanctuary for spiritual worship.

We had an unforgettable time at Army Lake Camp with our family, all thanks to the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, especially Vitaliy Kovalchuk, who invited us. The boat tour was a highlight, providing a fun and scenic experience. The budgeting workshop for adults was insightful, and we had a blast singing karaoke and playing entertaining games organized by the energetic team on the well-manicured lawn. Archery was a hit, and the outdoor climbing wall training sessions were thrilling. The zipline rides were exhilarating! The quality of the food was top-notch, and the religious and inspiring activities were deeply moving. Vitaliy Kovalchuk was exceptionally supportive throughout our stay, addressing all our needs and explaining every detail of the camp. Highly recommend!

I was born and raised in the Salvation Army, and I had a lot of good times at army lake camp. It saddens me that the Salvation Army went the way of the world and basically turned their back on Jesus because they used to be really solid when it came to the ways of Christ.

Great Camp experience. Beautiful lake views.

It is a Salvation Army Camp that runs programs for The Salvation Army in Wisconsin and the Upper Penninsula of Michigan all year long. There are about 8 weeks of Summer Camp Programming and several other programs throughout the year.

I'm pretty sure rentals are available when The Salvation Army is not running a Program.

I am 58. The last time I went to this camp, I was too young to stay the 5 days. They had 3 day camp for us in tents. My brother was there for 5 days. The camp still looks the same in some ways. They are great memories.

The camp was amazing. There were so many things for my 11 year old daughter to experience. She went on a wagon ride, zip lining, rock climbing, and even did archery! The camp counselors were very polite and took great care of the kids. I even went on a pontoon ride around the lake. Or last night ended with a beautiful campfire and songs with delicious s'mores!

Salvation Army Camp, Salvation Army Camp, I love you. Salvation Army Camp, Salvation Army Camp I love you. I love you in the morning when I’m making up my bed. I love you in the evening when I’m snoring off my head. Oh, Salvation Army Camp, Salvation Army Camp I love you.
The best childhood memories were of this camp. Meals in the dining hall where we competed for the cleanest, prettiest table after each meal. Three pieces of trash for admission into the lake area, then swimming with the buddy system where when the whistle was blown you’d have to find your buddy & hold hands held high. Doing the swimming tests for access to different parts of the lake. I remember everyone cheering me on when I had to tread water for part of my test. I made it where I could swim to the floating dock & check out a row boat. The snack bar in the evening, Finding toads under the cabins, pontoon rides & the pow wow. Soooo many wonderful memories. I could go on & on. I need to go back there & volunteer to make other kids’ summer as special as mine.
