Liked: The site is well run, with excellent facilities. Although it was busy, (mid August) we didn't feel crowded, the pitches are well spaced. Staff were helpful, and I noticed them cleaning and keeping the site well maintained.
Pitches were level, and electricity hook up was easy to use.
The children enjoyed the play area, and the inflatables when manned. Toilets and showers were clean, drinking water was readily available.
There is a shop onsite, we didn't need it, but it looks well stocked.
As described the train does run quite near, which can be noisy.
All in all a pleasant stay.

Liked: Excellent location close to the village of Cropredy. Visited the Brasenose pub which was hospitable and the food was good. Lovely setting with clean facilities and hot showers. The birds and goats were lovely.

Disliked: There was quite a bit of noise through the night from the busy train line (stayed by the older toilets) . Ear plugs sorted that out though and not a deal breaker.

Liked: It was end of season and quiet and only stayed one night, the loos were clean and warm, site was clear of rubbish. Everything else was shut but there was only us there and another van who i think might have been the warden. Check in was just a phone call, no problems.

Wifi worked fine.

Loved the goats on site - they're why I booked it as our last stop to be honest.

Short walk to pubs in Cropredy ten mins, if that. It was a Sunday so the canalside cafe pub shut early, about 5 i think, Red Lion stopped serving food early, Brasenose was full of poshos but did a banging sunday dinner, can take your dog in. They stopped serving about 5.45 (watch out for the added service charge without telling you). Not sure how far to walk to Banbury or if there's a bus.

Site looks like it would be a lot of fun in the summer though I imagine school holidays will get busy (there's a little playground, and of course, goats).

So yeah, would love to come back.

Liked: We liked it all...

Our 10yr old loved seeing the goats, chickens and birds daily. She loved making new friends with other children there too.

Our 13yr old loved playing football with all the other children there, and there were lots and they all got on beautifully.

Our 15yr old loved the peace and quiet that gave her space to enjoy reading her books.

They have a little shop with your essentials in it. They have food available too, which was a welcome sight after pitching the tent and getting sorted, the children thoroughly enjoyed the Wood Fired Pizzas - and even better they were very reasonably priced!

They also have a cute horse box bar that serves alcoholic beverages, was quite nice to walk back with a little prosecco in the evening.

The showers and toilets were clean and considering how busy the site was the cleanliness was maintained over the weekend.

The site notice requests no music after 9.30pm and the site owner and team go round at about 10pm asking for music to be off, very handy for those travelling with children.

Dogs were also allowed, but requested that they are on leads on site.

Liked: Having young children, we really like the park and bouncy castles, plenty of space to run around.

Pitches were pretty level.
Staff was polite and friendly.

Toilets were clean, love the theme!

Great little shop - could do with being stocked better though!

Disliked: Showers we’re dirty,
Men’s shower room had leaking pipes,- could do with a detailed clean and being cleaned more regularly.

Liked: We booked a last minute stay at this site as a pit stop on our way to the new forest. We absolutely loved it here and can’t wait to be back! The owner was very friendly and helpful. There was a lovely atmosphere on the site. We loved the goats that you could feed with food from the little on site shop. Facilities were great and very clean. The pitches were also spread out so you had lots of space on your pitch. We can’t wait to come back and bring our friends!

Liked: What a great site!

Stayed here the August bank holiday weekend for 3 nights, on a non electric grass pitch with the touring caravan.

This was the first break away with the touring caravan and The Old Dairy Farm made this stay easy and enjoyable.

With the ability to pitch where we wanted, we were able to quickly pitch up and start our break.

The Old Dairy Farm has an outdoor children’s play area, more than suitable for our little ones; 6, 3, 2, 2. All the areas you need are clearly marked; elsan, drinking water, toilets, showers, washing up area, reception and shop. We didn’t order any food whilst we were there, but many did and the prices were reasonable, as were the prices in the shop, which we did use. The site has goats and birds, which kept the children entertained for hours, you can buy goat food from the onsite shop. There were two bouncy castles, although they weren’t erected during our stay, but I’m guessing that was due to the unpredictable winds.

The owner, I think his name was Keon, was very friendly, with his children assisting us on check-in, such a lovely family :).

People have mentioned the train noise, but this wasn’t a concern during our break, we heard it, but it didn’t cause concern for us or the children.

We left the site once during the stay, to walk by the canal but to be honest, everything we needed was on the site.

Thank you for a great first stay in our caravan The Old Dairy Farm, we’ll definitely be coming back.

Liked: Had a wonderful stay. The toilet blocks & Shower area were nice and clean, which made the experience much more comfortable. The play area for kids was a big hit with my little ones—they had a blast! Our pitch was neat and dry, just what we needed. The support staff were really friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Overall, a great place to camp, and we’ll definitely be coming back!
