Really enjoyed camping on oakbank farm campsite, out of the way and has all the facilities needed. Fresh water, toilets, wash rooms, all clean and friendly owners. Also ev bike charging and maintenance equipment first time I have seen. Also we asked for help with knowledge on were to pan for gold as it was our first ever experience. And with no hesitation pointed us in the correct place. Well done.

In a good location and the owners were really helpful and friendly. Asked about the best place to go gold panning and was directed to one of the best valleys I've seen in the UK. Thanks for been helpful. P.s if the owners see this review don't worry you can keep the campsite price the same as no tennis balls were found haha.

Lovely site, well located and great size. We had the site to ourselves which was perfect, the toilets and showers were clean and tidy (albeit a little chilly due to setup and weather). The hot tap was seriously hot, could do with mixer taps ideally.

Dog walking field was ideal for throwing sticks and balls around. Location wise just off the main road and train lines, however neither are particularly noisy and didn't bother us at all.

We had a very warm welcome from the owners and were surprised to find an almost empty campsite. Just one motorhome and one other tent with a woman and her son plus our two tents. The campsite is nice and flat, with basic but decent facilities. This campsite deserves more use and I'm sure it is busier at various times of the year. There are two toilets and two showers for use by all genders. There is no camp shop which is normal from a farm campsite but there is a village not too far away. There is a road and a railway line close to the campsite but to be honest, neither bothered me during the night, I didn't need to use earplugs at all. Give this campsite a go if you are passing through or staying in the area.

Had a lovely 1 night stay here. The owner was very welcoming. Facilities were ok, washing up sink, toilet & showers. We didn't need fresh water or waste disposal so not sure if the site had these or not
(they probably did) Very quiet site, only ourselves and one other motorhome there. They have a gated dog walking field too.

Fantastic site. Owners are very welcoming. Don't worry about the road and train line as they are very quiet. Great country roads for cycling and walking to the nearby castles and the forest Ae.

Lovely lovely little campsite with great dog walking field clean facilities and the most accommodating owners! We have a partially sighted Great Dane who is reactive if approached by dogs off the lead unexpected! The campsite have great rules about dogs on leads and were unbelievably accommodating to our needs and placed us away from other pet owners. I travel to Scotland a lot and will definitely be back! Really felt relaxed here.
