We have been going to Marvel for several years now with our family, and are already planning our next stay! It is a great place to take the kiddos with swimming, crafts, jungle gym, basketball, and more! The staff is amazing and very helpful! If I could change one thing, it would be the beds! Those suckers are very firm. Other than that, the resort is very family friendly and I feel safe having my kids there. 10/10 recommend! Also, definitely rent a golf cart!

Let me tell you... this place is awesome! We had 3 families all meet up at the resort. We had originally planned a State Park meet up, but I'm glad we chose Marval instead. Marval is all around awesome.
My family stayed in a cabana, which does not have a bathroom. I was worried about that at first but it worked out fine. We were all so exhausted by the end of each day that it didn't matter. Other family members stayed in a larger cabin and it was nice too.
The kids loved the pool(s) and jumping pillow. It rained off and on while we were there and the rock painting in the activity center helped pass the time.
We went on Labor weekend and the park appeared at capacity but it didn't feel crowded.

All in all a great trip that will be a yearly thing for us.
I don't know who owns Marval but it really is a gem. Great for families with kids or even just a couple getaway. They hit the nail on the head with the layout, activities, etc.

We have made this an annual family trip to kick off the spooky October season. We absolutely love this family friendly place. They have so many things to keep the kids busy and entertained.
I was sad after the haunted trail shut down but, they brought in an awesome monster mash dance party that my younger kids were able to do, unlike the haunted trail. There is basketball, bounce pad, mini gold, arcade, swimming, a restaurant and so many friendly people! Definitely planning another trip next year.
The only think I wish would change back is the price of the pumpkin patch. It was $2.00 when we first started but it is now $10.00. My kiddos were sad when I told them we couldn't do it because there are 5 of them but they soon got over it.

This is the most incredible place tucked away in this absolutely beautiful environment. Anything and everything you can think of for kids and families to do this place has it. 2 pools it sits on a river even has a pizza place snack bar, Arts and crafts center that is unbelievable, Sporting equipment for anything you want to do even disc golf. Playgrounds jumping pillows activities planned and a staff that is off the charts. We will be back. Absolutely in the top 3 vacations I've had in my life and I am 63. I could not recommend it more please please take your family there and enjoy yourself.

This was our first time visiting and we will be back!! Staff was super friendly and helpful and cabins nice and clean as well! We loved all the Halloween activities as well as year round things available to do as well! The employees all seemed to really care and love their jobs,it was nice to see!

Just went here for the first time this last weekend with my family for my birthday and it was absolutely amazing! There is so much to do you honestly have your hands full the whole time you are there! They have a general store for basic necessities in the lobby of the check in area which is absolutely great for last minute needs but the resort is conveniently located 5 minutes from the nearest dollar general or grocery store (harps) and several other little stores you may need to make your stay great! The cabins are nice and well stoked for cooking during your stay! I will 100% be coming back and recommending to all my family and friends.

We really enjoyed our stay. We got the cabin with the loft for kids to stay in. The ac isn’t the best so we ended up all sleeping on mattresses in the living room but it worked out fine. Ac just can’t reach the bedroom or loft well. Creek is nice and cold and fun to tube down. Pools are nice in the evening for a swim. We enjoyed the activities center to escape the heat. Kids fishing pond was nice and kids were able to catch fish. Too hot for playground or mini golf this time of year. Pizza place and Mexican place near by in Gore were great to avoid cooking. Would certainly stay again but likely in cooler weather like the fall.

I’ve always had a great experience here besides today. A lady who worked in the activity room that is named Jennifer has the worst attitude I have ever seen. I get that it can be busy but raising your voice at a customer in front of their children is not okay whatsoever. I was at the table to get golf clubs and balls for the kids. I stood there for a while and nobody helped me. I figured maybe it was self serve and you just sign in and out on the sheet. When I was grabbing the golf club she pushed it down on me and yelled at me to stop. I told her what happened and she screamed at me saying “do you not see I’m busy and pointed at the line.” I have never been disrespected like that it shocked me. I told her what happened and she still continued to yell at me when it couldn’t been handled a more professional way. I ended up walking away because I was so upset and shocked.. She does not need to be working around children. My 6 year old son walked out of the room crying saying he can’t play golf because of the mean lady.
