Bel campeggio, molto tranquillo, frequentato da locali, pochi turisti. Non è ben indicato, difficile da trovare. Le piazzole sono ben delimitate, su fondo di sassolini, non proprio in piano ma con acqua e corrente adiacenti. Personale molto gentile. I servizi sono pochi rispetto alla capienza del campeggio, ma ben tenuti e puliti. Le docce sono ampie, a pagamento di 20 pences. È presente anche l'asciugacapelli e saponi in doccia.

We had a very short stay, but an extremely pleasant one! The campsite is small and cosy, the amenities are very luxurious! It set a standard that the other campsites we visited in the UK could not live up to I'm afraid. 😀

The owner is super friendly, the surrounding area is nice for walking, Lake Windermere close by for longer hikes. I highly recommend! We never got around to that whisky tasting in Scotland Paul as you highly recommended, but promised: first time we have a dram it will be to your health!

It was clear from the moment we pulled into this site that it was someone’s pride and joy. We were then met by Paul the owner who was very welcoming and friendly. It was evident that he thrives on making other people happy and ensuring their holidays are enjoyable.
Lovely quiet location with a pub within walking distance.
The facilities and site overall are highly maintained and very clean. Laundry and washing up facilities were also available and at a very high standard. We liked it so much we booked for a second night!
Great location to visit the Lakes and whilst fairly close to the motorway, very minimal noise in the distance and very little light pollution which allowed us to star gaze and even see the Northern Lights!

Had a lovely stay at this family owned holiday park .
Paul and Sarah were very friendly and helpful and took time to make us feel welcome .
The toilet and shower facilities were 5 star , it was obvious thought , pride and care has gone into this park , being well organized good size pitches everything very clean and tidy .

There is a lovely pub with great food within a few minutes walk , also lovely canal walk just outside the site gates makes all the difference for early dog walking .
Good road links to Windermere , Coniston and more . Overall we had a great time absolutely recommend this lovely site ....

Clean and well kept site , good walks along the Lancaster canal , excellent bar/restaurant across the road. Easy access to M6 jct 36. Plenty to do in the area. Definitely be back

A stunning camp site and really well maintained. The toilet and shower facilities are warm, clean and modern. 20p needed to shower (3 minutes)

We had a lovely 2 night stay here. Paul is very friendly and helpful. The site is well laid out and well kept.
Very peaceful and relaxing, the facilities are fantastic. Lovely clean, warm showers. Nice walks along the canal. We were sad to go home. Can't wait to stay again

Stopped off for the night on the way back from touring Scotland. By far the best facilities we've had. Shower and toilets are spotless. Grounds are well maintained and the pitch is perfect size. WiFi is handy for the TV streaming. We had a lovely walk along the canal. Paul is really welcoming and the communication was perfect. Would definitely recommend this site!
