My husband and I was driving all day, came across this place to park up. I would say I’m very grateful, I called and paid for our spot. Yes we showed up after hours, but that didn’t stop us from finding out spot. They leave out a map with your nap on it, showing you where you need to be. I like it how it’s right off the highway. It was easy for us to get back on the rd the next morning and the showers were awesome. After a long day of traveling and able to have a nice hot shower was awesome. Thank you for letting us stay!

What was supposed to be a one night stay during a trip from Illinois to Glenwood Springs turned into a 5 night stay due to an extreme snow storm. Not only were they out there everyday plowing the snow the staff was very nice and accommodating. They even gave us a free night. Would definitely stay here again. The sites were a little narrow but level and well maintained.

Women’s bathroom smelled like sewer. Laundry room ok but a lot of broken machines. Friendly service. Great dog park. On freeway and narrow sites our site had a stump branch sticking up near a rock. Had to be careful.

Stopped here as it was getting late in the day and there weren't any other options. The young man at the desk said he only had full hook ups left. Cost $74.00. Sewer cap was frozen on, so we couldn't use that. i did use the laundry. Most machines were broken, the ones that weren't were dirty. Soap vending machine was empty. Dog run was full of weeds and my dog got stickers in his paws. I was going to take a shower, but the bathroom and showers smelled horrible. We didn't go in, but here were some people who were enjoying the game room. Would recommend that if you have time, you go the the Strasburg, CO KOA instead.

Oh my god! The flies!
We took a road trip from NC to WA, down through CA and back to NC camping about half of the trip. This was the worst campsite of the entire trip. The site was so overrun with flies we went to bed 2 hours early to get away from them. This KOA is parallel to the highway and only about 150 yrds from it. The road noise all night long felt like we were in the median of the HWY. Needs updating and pest control. Agree with another post about traveling with prey driven dogs- dozens of rabbits and cats all over the campground, none of which run away from people or dogs.
Will not ever stop here again.

The campsites are not well maintained. The campsites need to be cleaned up. The flies in the campground were miserable. We traveled to Colorado for a Rally and booked two stays at the KOA Campground in Limon, Colorado. Both stays were overrun by Flies. The first stay we thought it might be due to the campsite being near the trash and the community dump site. The second stay was no better and we were on the other side of the campground, in a spot with out sewer connections. Both sites were heavy with flies. The owners need to spend some serious time cleaning up after animal and human waste. Not a place I would want to stay again.
P.S. - The two guys in the camp store were nice and friendly.

Perfect for a quick overnight stop. Staff was friendly and super helpful, bathrooms were clean and it’s right by a gas station and a Wendy’s. What more could you ask for an overnight stop? Adding this location to our preferred stops list between Kansas City and central Colorado. And they have bunnies!

**If you have prey driven dogs DO NOT STAY HERE! There are bunnies everywhere, like they had a couple pet bunnies that decided to single handily repopulate Colorado with bunnies. They don’t even move when you walk up to them. With the exception of the bunnies & my dog who’s decided that all bunnies should cease to exist, the camp ground was clean. Stayed here one night on our way out of the mountains for a quick shower & to shorten the drive home the next day. Arrived late, reservation was there. The site for our camper was oddly & directly in front of the one cabin that was rented…so relatively empty campground but we were put directly outside a occupied cabin.. We didn’t interact with anyone, bathrooms were clean, would stop here again if the dogs aren’t with us.
