We had a lovely morning here, hiking around on the trails for a couple of hours or so. The place is so beautiful, and the trees are awe-inspiring. We liked the nicely maintained trails & interpretive signs. We highly recommend coming here.
Oh, and it looks like a great place to camp, too. So serene.

What a beautiful hike in the redwoods! My mom and I went on a pleasant hike to the Grove of Titans and it was awesome! Nice gravel road to drive on, well developed restrooms and trails, and so many tall and beautiful redwoods. What a peaceful and awe-inspiring walk

Place was beautiful. It would have been nice to get trail maps. It is a National park. No place to even check in, just cars parked everywhere. No marked trails for the most part. Where I went and what I saw was beautiful, but if I wasn’t following others, I’d probably be lost. Place is massive as signage would have been helpful. It’s almost like you don’t want visitors. NPS could get a lot of money if there was a true entrance like other National Parks. I have a pass so it wouldn’t have cost me, but I did pay for the pass.

My favorite state park in CA ? The cabins are an amazing option if you’re with a group. Electricity and heat during a cold/wet winter really kept our group excited about camping (with 2 teens!) Such a beautiful place. Make sure to check out the Smith River.

What a beautiful and magical place to visit even for a short walk through the redwoods!! I have been here several times to enjoy the giant trees with my family and will definitely be back again. The way the light hits the forest floor full of green ferns and other plant life is spectacular!

If you are towing a trailer or travel trailer, I advise against taking the route I took. It presented numerous challenges. There are no turnaround points, making it difficult to find space to turn around. It is remarkable; you will not find trees like this anywhere else. The trail leads all the way to the river. I strongly recommend pulling over and taking some pictures; it will be an unforgettable experience.

First time at the state park. Family friendly. You can easily take a stroller/ wagon for Stout Grove trail. River destination. The kids loved playing in the water. The river was so clear! Nice place to play in

Simply amazing park! You have to be there in person to really see the size of this living legends. Some of the biggest Red woods we have seen and it was not too populated. We took 3 hikes about 1 mile long in average and were there about 4 hours which was plenty of time if you are passing by rt 199.
