Overall, a good stay! The room was fine nothing fancy, but comfortable and had everything I needed. The bathroom was a bit old-fashioned, though still perfectly functional. Most importantly, everything was spotlessly clean, which really appreciate. The views from the room (and from the hotel itself) were absolutely beautifu- definitely one of the highlights of the stay! The staff were generally friendly and helpful. There was one funny moment when I asked about the restaurant, and they actually recommended that I go eat somewhere outside because "the food is better there" honest advice, guess! In short, a nice, clean place with amazing views great for a few relaxing days.

4 ⭐️ hotel it is NOT.|Despite great views,very clean,great pool and free shuttle bus. The rest was very dated ,basic rooms,bathroom badly fitted out ,rock hard beds,needs a massive re-vamp.Area around the pool very dirty. Hotel short of staff,TV / Bar area very poor and restaurant very dated.Staff that were there were kind but overworked. I’m sure there are better places to spend your holiday.

What a gem of a hotel! Beautiful view. Fantastic food. The manager Salvatore was simply the best manager - his eye for detail, his overall running of the staff, the overwhelming feeling that they really wanted to make you feel welcomed and nothing was too much to do. Even going the extra mile of changing pur table for an even more romantic view. The Service in the restaurant was 5 * i would highly recommend - they just had a new fit out. In baby blue. Great options for a set piece 4 of course menu - the bar staff at the pool were still in training i believe but under Salvatore will be up to stray h soon as they were new. Value - amazing - location - goof shuttle service nut needed to be booked.

We have just returned from a week at this super hotel. It's by no means boutique, but it is freshly painted and redecorated and spotlessly clean. There is a lovely pool and hot tub with plenty of clean new loungers. Pool towels are 3 euros per day. Rooms have a free security safe. Beds and pillows are firm. It is built into a hillside with lovely sea views. | All the staff are exceptional - the reception staff could not have been more helpful in resolving several problems caused by out travel agent's errors. The restaurant staff are charming, helpful and attentive without being effusive. Staff do not wear name badges so I cannot single out anyone, but all were the best we've come across in all our travelling.| Dinner starts with a wide choice of buffet salads, then table service of a pasta course, a meat/fish/vegetarian course and finally dessert. The fish was delicious and perfectly cooked, the fresh fruit top quality. We enjoyed good local wine at realistic prices. |We found all the food to be excellent - breakfast and dinner - with a wide range of dishes. Dinner is chosen at breakfast which could be an irritant, but it results in all choices being freshly cooked and served as required......and reduces waste. |A hotel shuttle bus can be booked for trips to Forio and the beach - probably other places too, but that's all we used it for. |The hotel is right beside the famous Mortello Gardens - a must when you are there. |Overall we cannot speak highly enough of this simple hotel and its wonderful staff on a beautiful island. Thank you!

We spent three nights. We liked both location and breakfast however the whole facility needs major renovations. Rooms are small, very bare, beds are hard like rocks

🚫 Not Worth the Stars!
Stayed at a “4-star” hotel and it was a disaster:
Whole floor smelled like mold from the sauna
Room was old, moldy, and poorly maintained
Sheets had holes in them
Water leaked all night from the bathroom
Room change request was ignored until the next day
No clue how this place got 4 stars.
Would NOT recommend.

Our stay left a lot to be desired unfortunately. Our room was not soundproof in any way, every time someone above us used the toilet the flush went through our room, and woke me a lot during the night. We could really hear everything through the halls of the hotel. The bed was two single beds pushed together which further disrupted our sleep. |Besides this, the hotel is reasonably priced and in a good location with beautiful views. |So, depending on these factors may influence your decision to stay here.

The hotel is definitely underrated, I think most reviews are quite outdated. We had a very good experience there. The staff was really welcoming and helpful, the room was clean and had everything we needed (a fridge, a sejf, cosmetics). Very comfortable beds. There are outdoor and indoor pools, jacuzzi with sea view (fantastic!), and most rooms have a balcony with gorgeous sea view - such a beautiful sunset! Overall, the location is quite away of everything, but the views pay it off;) The hotel offers free shuttle bus to Forio (every 30 min), and there's also a public bus stop just a few meters away (so you can easily get to Ischia Porto or San'Angelo).
