We had a superb 4 night stay here last week. We arrived in the area to find the road closed but a quick phone call to the owner had us on the right track around the nearby roads.

We were absolutely delighted with the pod. Very snazzy indeed. So impressed with the design and use of space. The bathroom was beautifully crafted. The lighting throughout is delightful and we had a lovely evening toasting marshmallows with the family next door. We've already recommendednto friends. What an absolutely gem of a spot.

Liked: Small and pretty rural site with just a handful of pitches alongside glamping tents and lodges. Well maintained.
Peaceful and quiet with cute chickens!
3 unisex toilet + shower rooms were spacious and clean enough although could be better ventilated.
No staff on site as it is small but very good communication before arrival.

Liked: Absolutely lovely quiet little campsite. Pitches were excellent. Facilities were clean
and well maintained. Lovely location and friendly owners. Will definitely return

Disliked: Toilet and washing facilities were well maintained and clean but water pressure on the showers was very very weak.

Liked: A lovely quiet secluded site, plenty of space on pitch - did not feel crammed in or too close to neighbours. Very handy for A1 so easy access to the lovely sights of Northumberland. Toilet / shower block very handy and lovely & clean.

Liked: The location was perfect, for visiting the coast , toilets and showers very clean .

Disliked: This site only has grassed pitches so there are no hard standings for a motorhome , the grass was very boggy due to the amount of rain
We were asked to use a strip of hard standing between the pitches, which was not a pitch ( we paid for a pitch)it wasn’t very suitable , it is probably somewhere we wouldn’t visit again , we didn’t see the site owner.

Liked: What isn't there to like!
Amazing family ran site, immaculately kept, clean facilities, super communication from owner regarding a road closure. Spoke to her one evening with Sid (the teckel!) And she was super personable, engaging with both me and my girls. Ideally located for so many attractions. Felt like home from home and we will definitely be coming back!

Disliked: Nothing!

We stayed in a pod for 4 nights over the bank holiday weekend with our 12 & 14 year olds. The pod was fantastic with all the amenities you need, really comfy beds and outside space. The area is very quiet but it’s really easy to get on the A1 & Alnwick, Seahouses, Beadnell, etc are all within 15-20 mins away. We didn’t see the owners but had received detailed information beforehand, there was a comprehensive info pack in pod & there were numbers to get hold of them if needed. ||We love this part of Northumberland & staying in these luxury pods made it even more wonderful.

Liked: Inside the Bothhill pod was simply pleasing. The bath in the bedroom, fab. The kitchen was adequate. I liked the open space. We had a sneek look at the family of 4 pods, and we loved our 2 person pod even more. My daughter loved the swing chair. The king size bed was spacious for two.

Disliked: Oh, one fo the slab on the door to the bathroom needs a little knocking back to slide it open or close. I hope this can be fixed. Otherwise when you are in, its difficult to slide it open to come out. The side is beautiful decorated with floral wall paper.
