This is a fantastic campground with HUGE sites and many trails. Very clean restrooms. Close to many shops but a great place to ride bikes and also fish . There is no office so it feels remote had two playgrounds for kids . Soccer and baseball fields across the street . Loved staying here

Spacious. Each camp site was extremely spacious and all grass. The bathrooms were cleaned regularly. The showers were really nice. They had space to move around, a bench to set things on and sit to get dressed and they had provided a seat for those with extra needs to sit on while showering. You simply come into your site, set up and take down at the appropriate times and really no-one bothered us at all. It was such a relaxed experience and would definitely suggest anyone stay there. I admit that the processing online to book the campground was extremely steep. For our two night stay it was $12 processing fee but the cost of staying there and having not only electric but also water on each site was awesome.

We tent camped here this past weekend for the Harley Davidson festival, and everything was great! The showers were clean and worked well, the water did not have a smell or taste, and the grounds were kept up. We camped at site 41, and it was fairly level and clean/clear of debris on the pad and grass area. Each site comes with a fire pit, and they have wood you can purchase. We'll camp here again if we attend the fest next year!

I love this park area. It's very spacious and clean. The campground looked nice but I didn't use the area. I used one of the private areas for a party.
The area was great for the park I was having. I was able to build a field day track of 100 yards, a bouncy house, a DJ, a cooking area, a food tent, and a volleyball area set up. We had plenty of space.
I will be renting this area again.

We rented 10 sites this last week for the Harley Davidson Homecoming as we do every year, only this year we met the Camp Hosts Dave and his wife Grace. They really changed the feel and atmosphere at Cliffside! They are pleasant yet on top of the rules so that everyone has a great experience! We spent some time with both Dave and Grace at different times during our stay and they were truly on top of the park all day and evening. Thank you for changing camp hosts......We could already see the difference and loved every minute. We now must book another long weekend before the season is over. GREAT JOB!!!

We stayed for 3 nights and we're very pleased! originally I was posted at site 68 directly across from the bathrooms, but that area is pretty open to the sun, and there's a light at the end of the lot that shines down onto pad 68. For me that was not preferred so I moved down a few spots to pad 70 and stayed along the tree line in my tent, which stayed shaded all day long. pad 71 across from 70 also looks very shaded and the fire ring access is close by.
Pad 71 is still fairly open in the sun for the picnic/fire ring but the pad site is large and can easily put up a Canopy or something similar to help with shade. there's also electric and water at site 70. The showers are on a timer but the water is hot, the shower head can feel a bit rough at first. There's firewood bundles on site for sale for $7 or there's a place down the road right before the entrance to the campgrounds that also sells firewood ranging from $3-$10. we took a 20 minute drive to Racine had dinner and walked the shore line, checked out some lighthouses, enjoyed the scenery. There's stores very close by so if you need anything it's easily accessible.
over all great experience!

Beautiful wooded campground. We camped in a 42 foot 5th wheel and were able to park our F450 and Mazda on the site as well. Sites were well spaced out and level with nice fire pits. Water and electric hookups only. We hiked the trail to the overlook of Lake Michigan, an easy 20 minute walk on a recently mowed, flat trail. If you have good shoes and an adventurous spirit, it's possible to scramble down the rocks to the water. I took away one star for the shower situation. With no sewer, good shower facilities are essential! There were only 8 showers in the entire campgroud, 4 for men and 4 for women. I went in one day and had to wait 20 minutes. Another day, I arrived right after the showers were cleaned, and there were several hair strands on the walls, along with a bunch of dead bugs and cobwebs. Although the water was hot, the shower nozzle cannot be adjusted at all, and the water turns off about every 30 seconds, so you have to keep pushing the button for more water. Otherwise, a wonderful stay. We enjoyed a local coffee shop, Mocha Lisa (6 minute drive) and visited the beautiful lighthouse at Wind Point. Avoid the old downtown Racine though. Very run down.

Cleaner than many "resort" campgrounds.
Spacious sites
Amazing price
And quiet. Seems like everyone understands it's not a party spot and keeps noise and lights to a minimum.

Bathrooms were spotless and water nice and hot
