This campsite is fantastic! The staff are really helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The pitches are an excellent size. There is a small indoor pool and a larger outdoor pool. There is a small shop, bicycle hire, bar and restaurant which offers the best take away we have ever had in any campsite! The beef bourguignon is incredible and a must for all meat eaters!|The facilities are top notch, clean and well maintained.|You can order fresh bread in the shop (no ticket, no bread)! the day before. Just outside the campsite is a lovely walk/bike rider along the river. |Highly recommend this very peaceful and relaxing site

Lovely chateau campsite in a lovely region of France. ||Made to feel very welcome by all the staff at this camp which was very well looked after and presented.||Toilet block was exceptionally clean.||There is a nice bar area and shop on site. We enjoyed the delicious local wines.||Pitches are generously sized. ||We extended our stay as we enjoyed it that much. There were some very cute beavers in the lake by the camp which were lovely to see at close quarters.||We have several meals in the on-site chateau restaurant which were all delicious. Slight downside was very limited vegetarian choice. (2 choices only).||We also had a takeaway burger one night which visited the site. (Great that it was organised by the camp) I could not recommend this though as our food was very expensive for what it was and was extremely greasy / unappetising as a result. ||The only downside was that towards the end of our stay it became overly busy with lots of children on site (we have 2 teens). Many were travelling too fast on electric scooters around the site with no supervision or regard for their own or others safety. There needs to be some rules about this to prevent a potential accident.||However overall we really enjoyed the site and all it had to offer. We would look to go out of the main school holidays though on future visits,

5 ?... ..... wofür Ein Sanitärgebäude auf dem ganzen großen Campingplatz, je nach Lage Ihres Stellplatzes ist der Weg zwischen 200 und 500 Metern. Macht keine Laune . Die Stellplätze sind groß, allerdings für größere Womos komplett (!!) mit grobem Schotter belegt. Mit Hund, wenn Sie den Anspruch haben wenigstens 1 bis 2 km mit ihm spazieren zu gehen, und das nicht nur an der Straße, ist dieser Campingplatz meiner Meinung nach nicht zu empfehlen . Wir waren Anfang der 2. Septemberwoche für eine Nacht..... haben 45 € bezahlt. Wir kommen nicht wieder!

Really nice campsite, facilities are spotless throughout and staff were friendly. A quiet, relaxing location so a car / bikes needed to visit nearby towns. No evening entertainment and bar was very quiet in the evenings, ideal for a quiet stay. Restaurant is good but there are other nicer places if you're willing to travel further afield.

Ik vermoed dat veel beoordelingen komen van mensen die de camping gebruiken als doorreiscamping, want onze ervaring is toch wel iets minder dan het gemiddelde van 4,6.

In de basis is dit overigens een prima camping om met (jonge) kinderen te verblijven. Goede voorzieningen, zoals verschillende zwemgelegenheden voor jong en oud, diverse speeltuintjes en een mooie visvijver. Echter, in de details zitten wat ons betreft wel een aantal minpuntjes/nadelen.

Wij verbleven hier, in tegenstelling tot veel anderen, voor langere periode (11 nachten). Daar zit wat ons betreft dan ook het eerste minpunt van deze camping. Minstens 60% van de bezoekers gebruikt deze camping als doorreiscamping en dat merk je (sociale cohesie, fatsoensnormen, omgang met voorzieningen, etc.).

Wat betreft de horeca, de afhaalpizza's en friet zijn van goede kwaliteit en erg lekker. De afhaal boeuf bourguignon en het restaurant viel ons behoorlijk tegen.

Ook technisch een aantal minpuntjes/nadelen:
1. De waterdruk bij de douches en afwasplekken is instabiel. Op welk tijdstip je ze ook gebruikt, soms komt er helemaal geen water uit de kraan.
2. De watertempratuur van de douches lijkt regelbaar, maar onze ervaring is anders. Het water wordt soms ineens heel heet. Voor mijzelf niet zo'n probleem, maar met jonge kinderen best onaangenaam en gevaarlijk.

Al met al een prima camping voor een paar dagen, maar wat ons betreft niet heel geschikt voor een langere periode. Desalniettemin wel 3,5 sterren waard (gekozen voor 4, want 3 zou te laag zijn), maar het gemiddelde van 4,6 vinden wij ietwat aan de hoge kant.
