My grandson and I enjoyed it very much. This was our first year. It was designed for FAMILY and FRIENDS of all ages. The price for tickets was perfect for all income levels. Lastly, the work by the scouts, their family's, their friends, and the camp staff is to be commended for a job well done.

Going to be brutally honest. I love this camp, always have. The food is generally fine, the lake is nice, the trails are great, the nature is abundant. There is a major, major problem here however. The emergency alarms have always gone off at least once every summer I have been here, and that is understandable. What is not okay in any sense is that when the alarms go off, in many parts of camp you cannot even hear them. The plan in any emergency is for all scouts and adults to run as fast as possible, on sand paths through the woods, to the dining hall. Scouts are regularly injured in this, or people do not hear the alarm until things get worse. As well as this, nearly every emergency has the same alarm, meaning there is no possible plan for an active shooter, etc. The staff gets incredibly angry and upset when you mention this problem, blaming it on scouts who don't pay attention to instructions. Seeing my scouts bleeding and soaked because their emergency program is garbage, and then they blame it on the scouts, makes me very upset. Despite how much I love this camp, this experience has turned me away from any future desires to be here.

Great staff, food, setting and programs. My son and I enjoy going each year. Might rethink the open tent idea... a bit buggy at times. Also, could use more counselors at the waterfront for swim classes to make teaching more efficient and keep the boys in the water more and not on the dock. Overall, have a great experience each year.

Outstanding time, myself along with other leaders, and scouts could've done another week. Food was great, staff accommodating, and just a beautiful camp. The only complaint we agreed upon was more facilities were needed.

I went to this camp a few years ago with the boy scouts, it may have improved by now but i am unsure. But when i went there It was terrible. The Dining hall was so packed you couldn't get out of your chair, The dining hall bathroom had mysterious stains all over the walls with an insect infestation in the corner. I can only hope that the kitchens where better. The only thing i can say was good about this camp was the swimming area. But besides that, this camp was the worst camp that I've ever been to.

Great BSA camp! Food is good, lots of walking but that is to be expected. Scouts love it here and so do the adults!

not a bad place nice trading post decent campsites and most importantly good merrit badge selection , the food was also great and the staff were great and had acted foolish like they are suppose to!great camp!!!
