I’ve been going for Over 9 years now, I can safely say this is the happiest and most hype place on earth. The staff do an amazing job being energetic always, kind and understanding. The Food is always amazing. I have so many great memories from camp the will stay with me forever. If your on the fence about coming to camp, make that leap and come make memories you’ll keep for the rest of your (or child’s) life!

I went here as a camper, as a counselor, and as the boss of the counselors when I was in graduate school. An amazing place that will change your life in the best way. My daughter goes now and absolutely loves it. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Best camp ever! This camp is so well run. Between the organizers (Jody is not only so much fun but he makes this camp run like a well oiled machine) and the counselors and everyone else in between, this is the best camp in the Midwest by far. Thank you Camp Edwards for giving my daughter the best memories.

Currently I’m am in my early 20’s, and I have gone to this camp every year as long as I can remember up until I was 16 or 17. I’m glad my parents sent me here, because I learned a lot of skills that I wouldn’t have if I hadn’t gone. Plus, I met a lot of people and made quite a few friends, and created a lot of memories.

Whoever goes here will have the time of their life, because there’s something here for everyone. My favorite part of camp was being part of the road runners. The road runners are people who opt into waking up early before the rest of camp every day, and literally run to each cabin and pound their hands on the outside and yell to wake up everyone inside, it’s literally the best feeling ever. ?

The other parts of camp that I liked:
Skills:
At the beginning of camp you sign up for 4 skills that you would like to do each day of camp. Two skills are done before lunch, and two are done after. If you’re a Trekker (Age: 13-16), then you will sign up for three skills instead of four, because your time is spent a little differently in this age group.

G Swim Activities:
I roughly remember this being about 1 hour.
Basically you can do whatever you want during this duration. Some examples: you can go on the climbing wall, go kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, sailing, go to the gift shop and get ice cream, or my personal favorite, play in the GaGa Ball pit. I’m just going to warn you that playing games in the GaGa pit can get pretty wild, but it’s a lot of fun. ?

Evening activities:
These activities happen after G Swim and after dinner. These activities are a little different from G Swim. Basically it’s something that you do with your cabin as a team for the most part. It can range from playing capture the flag to doing cabin pack-outs under the pine trees.

For all of the parents out there deciding whether or not to send their kids here, I 100% recommend signing them up for a session. The memories I have from here still pop into my mind every summer, and I wish I could still go, but I’m too old now. If they ever allow adult sessions in the future, then I will definitely sign up, because I had so much fun!

Thank you Camp Edwards for helping create memories that I will never forget!

P.s., make sure to bring bug spray that is meant for the woods, like deep woods off, not the family spray.

This place is the funnest place ever! There are so many different activities such as Swimming, Kayaking, Canoeing, Sailing, Archery, Rock climbing, Sliding, Hiking, Etc. The bathrooms sometimes smell like sulfur water, but that’s my only complaint.

The food is amazing, they are really good cooks. If you go to family camp, on Labor Day weekend, you get a movie night, dodgeball game, and a talent show. There is a fishing dock at the lake, where there are 3 snapping turtles.

The lodges are small, with a bathroom you have to walk to, but they are alright. I recommend staying at Runge lodge, or Hoffer. They are pretty good areas to stay at, some rooms have bathrooms attached to the bedrooms.

If I could rate this higher than a 5, I definitely would.

P.S. bring bug spray or anything like that, at night there are bugs everywhere!

My kids had a blast at Camp Edwards! They swam in the lake, did the rock climbing wall, and many more things! The leaders were so nice and when I got there they greeted us very politely! My kids came home asking me if they could go next year! They said the food was great and now they are making me want to go there! I definitely think the money was worth going to Camp Edwards!

The best place on earth. I grew up here and all of my best memories are spread among the 10 years I spent both as a counselor and a camper. Sending your kid of any age is the best decision you could ever make!
