My 9 year old son attended Camp Adventurewood for the first time last summer (2022) and had such a fantastic time that he made sure we registered him again for this Summer (2023) as soon as we were able to. He has not stopped talking about how he can't wait for camp! His favorite activities included archery, the treasure hunt and pelting the counselors with water balloons LOL. As a mom, it felt so satisfying to see my son come home good-tired, really happy and needing an epic bath from all of the outdoor play each day. One of my favorite things about Camp Adventurewood is that it is entirely outdoors and there are zero screens in terms of camp activities. The camp is run by a group of truly committed and deeply caring people as well. The bonus of this experience was that my son made a really good friend in the process. An all-around success I would say. I'm thrilled that he's so excited to go back this Summer.

Camp Adventurewood is the best camp in the area, hands down!! My kids have been a part of the camp family for the past 14 years and counting! We plan our summer schedules around these five weeks at Camp Adventurewood, as my kids would never dream of missing a day. The directors and counselors are handworking, caring, attentive, charismatic, and lots and lots of fun!!! Camp Adventurewood truly is a community and I am so happy that my family gets to be a part of it! 🙂

Camp Adventurewood is amazing. My two daughters have been attending this camp for the past 7 years, and it is the highlight of their summer. Every year, they ask me how long before they can go back. The counselors are fun, caring and make sure the kids have the best camp experience. I love having transportation from our front door to the camp site. The kids love all the adventures, from engaging in the ongoing storyline to swimming, archery, horseback riding and games. Peter is always so accommodating and responsive and he is dedicated to making sure all campers have fun and stay safe. You will not find a better camp in the area.

Camp Adventurewood is the best kids summer camp in the San Gabriel Valley. With a phenomenal staff that brings unrivaled energy and unwavering commitment to meeting the needs of each and every kid, there is no other camp I would rather send my kids to. In addition to the amazing staff, the amiable and responsible camp owner, Peter, is on-site every day overseeing the smooth operation of daily activities. Not only does Camp Adventurewood offer all (if not more) of the activities you would expect to see from the best summer camps, it also adds an action-packed storyline for the kids to follow and interact with like a live television show! Having been a camper for nine years and a counselor for five, kids of all ages tell me they love this element of Camp Adventurewood and the staff is very conscious of making all campers feel safe during the action. Many campers continue to return year after year to keep up with the engaging storyline, see their favorite counselors again and participate in the captivating daily activities. Give your kid the best summer experience yet by sending them to Camp Adventurewood and by the end of the summer they'll beg you to sign them up again.

Camp Adventurewood is by far the most excellent Summer Camp. My kids have been attending Camp Adventurewood since they were 5 and 6. Now there are both Junior and Senior counselors, with my daughter being one of the Van Drivers! They spent their summers experiencing grand "Adventures " with an amazing story line that is captivating and engaging. Now my kids are behind the scenes helping the camps magic come to life. Peter Kazanjian is not only creative and imaginative, his professionalism and dedication shines through fully to his staff, campers and parents. Every child should have this wonderful summer camp experience!

My boys have attended Camp Adventurewood every single summer from the time they were 4 or 5. Each started their first summer going 2 or 3 days/wk and by the second summer insisted on 5 days/wk. Every year I asked them if they wanted to go back and it was always an enthusiastic yes! Camp Adventurewood offers lots of great outdoor activities including hiking, swimming, archery and horseback riding. However, what really sets this camp apart is the amazingly creative "treasure hunt" element. Each summer the Camp Adventurewood days revolve around a different adventure storyline that winds through the day to day activities at the camp. The kids love it! As a parent, I love that they can be picked up from the house by an air-conditioned van and have a wonderful time with attentive, caring counselors. Camp Adventurewood is fun fun fun for kids and so convenient for parents!

Camp Adventurewood was a wonderful experience for my daughters. Swimming, Archery, Horseback Riding and Crafts were only a few of the many outstanding activities they experienced. Peter runs a very thoughtful, creative and professional camp. Camp Adventurewood provided memories for my daughters, which will last a lifetime and it was at a very reasonable cost. This Day Camp is the best in Southern California, not only because of what it offers, but because of the incredible detail given to every experience by Peter and his Staff.

My son has attended Camp Adventurewood for the last 4 summers, and we love it! The camp has just about everything that you can imagine – horseback riding, treasure hunts, swimming, archery, arts & crafts, canoeing, various games and sports, and they even have beach trips. The counselors are stellar, and the price is fair. The camp even has a fleet of new camp vans in which they provide door-to-door pick-ups and drop-offs directly to our house each morning and afternoon. We are already signed up for this summer and my son can't contain his excitement! Camp Adventurewood has the best summer program around!
