Una bella esperienza, un bel bungalow in legno immerso tra alberi altissimi, silenzio e natura ...niente linea telefonica.. barbecue serale all'aperto concluso con i tradizionali marshmallow (come fanno a mangiare quella roba?) Gradevole esperienza, da fare.

Campeggio in una piccola valle percorsa da un ruscello, con una foresta di sequoie.
Sono presenti bagni con doccia (portate molti quarti, tipo 2 $ per un quarto d'ora di acqua calda), lavatrici e asciugatrici, un negozio dove comprare attrezzatura, stoviglie, utensili, cibo, legna, lampade, carbonella, diavolina...
I bagni sono un po' imbarazzanti perché le porte dei gabinetti (che già negli Stati Uniti sono rialzate da terra di un 30-40 cm e danno poca riservatezza) sono basse, quindi gli altri avventori possono vederti in faccia quando sei in piedi.

Love this place. Great location. Very clean and well kept grounds and facilities. Friendly staff. We stayed in one of the camping cabins right next to the river. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We didn't want to leave. Listen....the shared showers....these things had the BEST shower heads! Better than any hotel we've stayed. My wife and I both talked about it as soon as we got out of the showers. It was unbelievably great water pressure. Plus the hot water seemed endless. Excellent place to stay!!!!

I love this place! The customer service is amazing. They even called me before for my trip to let me know that sections of Highway one would be closed at certain times .

Walk to the swimming hole on site with included inner tubes or .5 miles to stores, restaurants, yoga, and coffee. Enjoying the outdoors without the lock of access. There is a gas station pricey gas, but gas none the less.

I gave four stars because many of the campsites don’t have any privacy are right next to each other .

Also four stars because there are no hiking trails that go go directly out of the campsite . It is surrounded by private property. You have to take a shuttle or a car diwn the road to go hiking. Upside you can take a shuttle for $10 with reservation from the site. I didn’t try it though. Next time I will. Definitely going back.

Was pleasantly surprised with this campground. We went in July and stayed in a small cabin. Due to reviews I was expecting a rustic space with no amenities. But was very surprised to see that we had a full cabin to ourselves with our own bathroom, ac unit and fridge. The staff was very helpful and made check in and out easy. We even got a cute mug to remind us of our stay. If you like cabin living this is the place to go in Big Sur.

We really enjoyed our stay. The campground is in such a beautiful area along the river. We reserved a spot to park a travel trailer. There was plenty of room, had electrical and water hook-ups and a nice fire pit. When we arrived, the person at the entrance gave us all the information we needed. They offered us free ice, firewood and hot drinks. The little store at the front is very convenient. The first night we stayed was a Sunday and there was some loud music and people talking at full volume, but the next two nights were nice and quiet. Overall it's a very nice campground and we would definitely stay there again.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt vom ersten Moment an geliebt. So ein netter Empfang von freundlich und relaxten Menschen. Und diese Ruhe vor Ort. Großartig! Die Cabin war sauber und gut ausgestattet und es gab kostenloses Holz für ein Lagerfeuer.
Wir werden uns gerne an diesen Aufenthalt zurück erinnern.

We arrived after dark and there was no signage or lighting to direct us to our campsite. Our trailer is a 26'+ and I do not recommend taking any RV's longer than 22' due to tight back-in campsites and sharp corners.
The river access and redwood trees were exceptional! The locals were friendly and the nearby beach was magnificent. Lots of small shops and hiking trails nearby. Thank you to the other campers that helped me back in and exit in one piece...everyone is super friendly. This is a hidden camping oasis for certain!
