We have come here for the last several years now in the fall. We normally book a smaller cabin that still sleeps 6. This time, we decided to splurg and get a larger cabin, and it did not disappoint. It was lakefront and had a beautiful view of the bridge. The only con was that this area had a public fire pit. Although the fire pit area is very nice, I just prefer to do things with my family in a more private setting. Overall, we had a great experience and the cabin itself is honestly so nice. ?

This was our first trip in our camper ever (we've never had a camper and we've never been camping) and this was a great place to stay for our maiden voyage! The lady at the check in desk was very friendly and helpful. I liked her! She put us on site 107 and it was nice. She also told me about the scenic walk and we followed her instructions. It was nice. We would stay again.

We stayed here while on our fall travel trip. We were extremely pleased with the campground. It is well organized, clean, the sites are quite private for a large campground and the staff were very helpful and professional. I can't say enough about this place. Most definitely recommend this one with the highest recommendation. Will definitely stay here again if in this area.

Fantastic well-appointed campground with modern amenities. The handicap cabin was great for wheelchair accessibility. The shop and snack bar was convenient. We really enjoyed the ability to ride the bicycle path from the campground all the way into town, approximately 3 miles of smooth roadway. The view of the bridge is unbeatable.

What a beautiful campground! Clean and in a convenient location close to the ferry for Mackinaw Island. The view from our campsite was a phenomenal bridge and water view. They are classified as "narrow", however there was plenty of room for our 28' motor home and we could fully extend our awning. There is nice vegetation in between the sites. We left the privacy curtain off of our windshield most of the time because of the lake and bridge views. Although it was rainy and the pools were closed for the season, walking and bike riding throughout the expansive park was enough to keep us from going stir crazy! And did I mention the views? It was a great place to call home for a few days of our Great Lakes tour.

Loved our stay at these campgrounds. The options of sites to book for our type of camping were perfect. They clean the bathrooms very regularly which I appreciated. They offer discount ferry tickets and a shuttle pick-up to the island which were cheaper than we had found elsewhere. All the accommodations that they list on their website are accurate. They care about the noise level after hours and it was nice to know they care to make sure people follow the rules that they have. The beach on Lake Huron was beautiful and their swing benches on the sand were really nice. I would absolutely recommend this campground.

Stayed in the loft cabin with a lake view. I didn’t know what to expect but it was stunning. Surrounded by trees and the beach within a few steps. I was surprised at the comfort of the plastic mattress on the beds. I think the only downside was that we couldn’t manage the fruit flies inside the cabin so make sure you’re always covering your food. I like that the staff monitors the campground and have a strict noise policy at 10pm. They were all very kind and helpful.

I do enjoy this campground , the views are amazing. The employees are very nice and helpful. We were left very frustrated when the office said that the free shuttle to the ferry was fast and reliable. We were told the the shuttle would be there to meet the last ferry at 8pm. We caught the 8pm in and just to be safe I called the shuttle line to make sure that they would be there. No one answered the line, I called 5x! No one was there to pick us up. We called the camp office, they said someone will be there soon. We waited 40 minutes before a shuttle came. Why? If you know people will be on a 8 pm ferry, do you show up at 8:40? They driver said the line operators probably went home for the night.

I'm sorry you can't advertise a free shuttle and then leave people stranded in the dark with their bikes and no way to get back.
