I had 2 of my kids attend Camp Mack this summer for the first time.

My 13 old son had a lot of fun hanging out , playing games and chillin with new friends. Eating is always a thing with growing kids? and he said the food was great.He raves about the staff, he said they were all so nice and friendly.

My 11 year old daughter just got home and she wishes she was still there. She had the best time. She met so many new friends and she loved all the staff and said they were so nice and fun. She loved the cabins and bunkbeds.

Summer 2023 can't come quick enough!!!!

I am being completely honest when I say I went to this camp in August 2018. I hated the camp, the food was nasty, they made us go into the lake when it was a cold cloudy day, on freezing waters while they sat on the doc, they quite literally starved us, once we had a snack time and got a single marshmallow with a single tiny pretzel stick.. and I ended up missing a snack time once and starved the whole day, this camp was the beginning of my eating disorder cause I had gotten used to the feeling of being hungry, I swear to God the only good thing I had at this camp was when we canooed across the lake. My older brother got very sick and had to go into a storage cabin that they called the sick cabin. It was literally a storage room. I do not recommend this camp. Or if you do go that it's better than it used to be. I just don't like it cause it was just the beginning of a horrific eating disorder.

We recently rented the camp for the weekend for our Wedding. We had family & friends bring trailers, sleep in the cabins & just come out for the day. The camp maintenance man on-site - Todd was amazing, he helped us out with several issues that arose due to the weather and helped keep the venue clean & provided assistance during & after the event.

The beach & water are so clean & we all loved going for a swim. The hall & kitchen facilities had everything we needed for our event & our caterer.

I highly recommend renting this facility for a family reunion, wedding or any other kind of get together. The price was great as well.

By the sounds of what my kids said, the food was not good. My kids ending up in the same cabin cause cabin leaders were leaving. The kitchen staff was very unprofessional and my kids said they were smoking and vaping in the kitchen and my niece found a finger nail in her food.
They did enjoy the games and making friends at camp, they will be doing summer camp again just not this one.

I have attended and volunteered with camp mackinicholea for the better part of 15 years. My closest friends were made here, friends I've had for hose 15 years. It's a magical place were you can be silly and sing songs all day long. There's always games to be played and a good time to be had. The lake is georgous and clean for daily swimming. This camp is suited for anyone really. The staff are hands on and makes it a priority to keep the kids entertained and safe.
