The campground is nice and well maintained. There are some simple trails to waterfalls or to just spend some time in the woods. The campground is close to Helen, GA so that is a plus.
The downside of the campground is the road noise you get non-stop. The campground is right off the main road so you’ll have a constant hum of cars and motorcycles.
Overall this campground is great and I would definitely recommend it.

Upper and lower falls were both good. Upper is about 9/10 mile from the parking lot. Lower is about 3/10 mile. Upper is harder with more elevation gain but easy overall. Not very crowded and parking is easy.

Lovely little hike to 2 pretty waterfalls. Easy enough for kids, very pet friendly. The lower falls is more of an incline but not bad. Upper falls is longer but less strenuous. $5 parking. Vault toilets at trailhead. Picnic area too. There is also a campground that looked nice but we did not camp there, just went for the day. Great way to enjoy the outdoors!

The camp site was challenging at first to find, due to the booking saying 22A but there are no A or B sites. The site is nice, I would double check the site map as it can be a little deceiving. I thought we were further from other campers but we were maybe 10 feet from a site on each side. The cars that like drifting and racing around winding mountains can be heard all day and night unfortunately, which takes you or of the peacefulness of the woods. There’s also quite a walk to the real bathrooms at showers, the lower number sites have direct access to that, the one near the higher numbers is a dark room with a plastic “toilet” that drops down into a deep hole, which for primitive camping is fine but if you book for running water toilets you will have to walk a bit back towards the entrance of the campground. The little creek/river is pretty and relaxing, small steep little bank down to accessing it but allows you to pull up a chair and listen to the water flow. If you want to go the waterfalls you start the hike near the low number campsites where you enter park- which we did not do this time but did on our last visit and it was easy and beautiful. There are no lights at night so it allows you to be fully engulfed in nature’s darkness.

Well maintained trails, quite a few steep bits for anyone with difficulty walking... The upper falls route is more gentle, but does still have hills to traverse. Lower falls is shorter, but MUCH more steep.

Very nice area to hike. There is a campground here. Plenty of parking, there’s a kiosk to pay for parking, $5. It was not working when we visited, QR code to pay. Service isn’t the best and you have to download the app if you don’t have it, I didn’t. There were several of us having issues. I eventually got it down before we left. Upper falls is the longest, not too difficult. The trail is like most well marked roots and rocks here and there. The lower falls is short distance but all incline! We have been here several times. I actually managed not to miss the entrance this time.

Beautiful park and campground. To hit both the waterfalls is about 2 miles and small elevation gain. I would rate it on the easier side of moderate. The trails are well maintained and marked. You can bring dogs as long as they are leashed. 5$ parking unless you have an interagency pass.

Campground sits just off highway with steep uphill and you can hear the loud motor noise as if on a racetrack. Outhouses near campsite 18 smell terrible and if wind is blowing toward campsite you cant enjoy it for the smell. No light at bathroom with flush toilet inside or out. Hosts were nice and campsites were clean and well maintained. Area is really pretty. Too bad about smell and noise.
