Great hike that takes you to both sides of the falls. The overlooks are nicely separated and provide excellent views. The suspension bridge is a great photo spot. If you are not a hiker, there are rest spots along the trail with seats at the walk down 200 steps is easy, if you walk up either side of the rim it is a good hike. Luckily there are stairs. I think it was $5.00 to get in, definitely worth it.

A great hike to take on an easygoing day. This is one of the deepest gorges in the eastern U.S. There are steps that take you all the way down to the bottom of the falls as well. But you get picturesque views at the top on either side. The trails are a couple miles long, so give yourself time. The visitor's center has restrooms and a water fill up station. Parking is free.

This state park is one of the deepest and most spectacular gorges in the East coast. It has several waterfalls and 20 miles of hiking trails ranging from easy to challenging. It has a visitor center outside which we parked our vehicle. Visitor center is beautiful and like the usual ones, a restroom and a gift shop. I went during the fall peak and had a great time witnessing the fall colors. Hike includes lots of steps that takes you down to the falls, but the journey is worth it.

This is a lovely state park. We got there around 3PM, and easily found parking. The people working there were helpful with answering my questions. They provided a map of the North and South Rim trails. We did the North Rim trail from end to end, along with the extra 1/4 mile added, near observation area 1. I highly recommend the extra 1/4 mile trail area beyond observation area 1. The view there is the best, of the overall area, the Fall colors and the gorge. I found the hike to be easy to moderate in intensity, including the 300+ steps down into the gorge and back up. Overall, my Fitbit clocked about 3 miles. We took our time, stopped to enjoy the view points and take photos, and finished the hike in 2 hours.

A perfect birthday getaway hike. We went first thing in the AM and it was so deserted. Felt like we had the whole park to ourselves. The visitor center was helpful and there’s a penny collector in there. Great morning spent.

Bring your hiking boots and sneakers, a bunch of water and walking sticks and be prepared to do a stair master exclusive because you are going to get it in when you visit this gorgeous state park! The gorge, the inner circle northern trail and the southern trail all have breath taking views and brings you close to nature. Loved it.

Beautiful park and great clean trails. The stairs to go down all see everything is in good shape and with them you can really enjoy this beautiful place. If you struggle with stairs they have plenty of benches on the stairwell so you can take your time and rest in-between.

What an amazing place to visit.

You can walk right down into various points of the gorge, steps all the way down and then back to the top. Quite a lot of steps, but worth the view! You can then do the circular walk and make it a longer trek, taking in more views.

Suitable for children to visit to be honest and for families.

It was also free to visit, which is rare for a lot of things in the USA
