Perfect stay for my charity hike penine way, thanks very much for your kindness.
The campground has everything I needed.
Caught bus into heptenstall as pub was closed unfortunately.

Easy to book on phone. Paid for van and separate tent but site small so we were close to each other. Hook up for van fine. Road quiet esp. at night. Pub useful for drinks and food pretty good. Recommend the chicken pie on 'specials', the pastry was amazing. Toilets could have done with some hot water but kept very clean. This is fine for a small fairly unsophisticated site with unexpectedly good WiFi.

I am writing this review so you don't make the same mistake we did and nearly ruined our holiday. Paid £54 for 2 nights to stay in a campervan on a main road in a pub carpark surrounded by weeds. It took 2 hours for the owner to contact us as we didn't know where the toilets etc where. We have stayed in better pub carparks for free. Its right on a main road so not safe for children and animals. We have been camping for 20 years and this place was not up to standards so we didn't stay.

Overpriced for what is on offer. Facilities too basic with no hot water as toilets/shower just a shed near pub. If it was half the price it would still not be attractive avoid if you possibly can as you'll just feel ripped off as no refunds if you get there and realise its not for you

Basic sloping field next to a pub. Perfectly adequate loos and showers. A fiver for backpackers. simple, but a welcome opportunity for a clean up and pub meal if hiking either Pennine Bridleway or Pennine Way

Nice quiet little site attached to pub. Good toilet and shower facilities and washing up area. Nice walk along bridleway to Hebden bridge

The only good things about this place was a private loo shower cubicle and the views. On a hill, no hot water to wash your pots or at the sinks only in the shower. No food in the pub. A car park which is not good for your tyres.
£28 a night medium size tent absolute rip off. I've paid £10 a night and got much better facilities.

We are pretty laid back when it comes to campsites, we've had our fair share of basic & pub sites, but this was way overpriced for the facilities. Didn't use the shower as it was freezing & felt grubby. No hot water in the washing up sink, which was uncovered! Felt like we'd paid to wild camp! We paid £23 per night!
