We spent 2 nights in the Crocullia Yurt. It was a wonderful stay. The peace and quiet was serene. The yurt itself was very comfortable, a king size bed and a lovely wood burning stove. We made use of the barbeque and fire pit, and the facilities - toilets, showers, kitchen, were immaculate. I wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely be back. Highly recommend. For reference the local town is a 20 min or so downhill walk (but uphill on the way back ?). It has a gorgeous, clean beach, a friendly bar and a restaurant in the golf club.

Our group of six people stayed at the Portsalon luxury camping in mid September. It was our favourite stay on our trip to Ireland. The yurts were very comfortable. The natural setting is unparalleled, and the views are like something from a fairytale the building in which we had our dinner and breakfast was very comfortable and well equipped, and, a fun place to congregate with friends Helen and Sean Were very friendly hosts the entire setting A spectacular natural landscape was something we will never forget . I would fully recommend anyone touring Donegal Go out of their way to experience this once in a lifetime Destination.

I really couldn't recommend Portsalon Luxury Camping enough. Perfect getaway in breathtaking surroundings - it's a great place to recharge the batteries! The facilities are kept incredibly clean and everything works well, the yurts themselves are beautifully constructed and a delight to stay in. Double beds are super comfy and we had the best night's sleep with the sound of the wind and rain outside while we were cosy and warm inside the yurts. Thank you Helen and Sean, looking forward to coming back soon. ?

What an amazing place! Tranquil and beautiful. I enjoyed reading in my hammock next to the yurt overlooking the bay, listening to the bees buzzing.|The nearby beaches are stunning: clean yellow sand and clear water. We even found sea glass.|Definitely a great place to recharge and refocus. Thanks Sean and Helen for being top hosts.

Booked a one night stay here last weekend and we were so sad leaving that we had to turn back and book an additional night! The place is so special and takes you right back to nature. Helen and Sean are brilliant hosts, so attentive but very respectful of your privacy too. The Yurt, views, beautiful land and the most comfy bed just make this place a gem. Try it - you won't be disappointed x

I didn't know what to expect from this experience as this is my first time ever properly going camping this way and i must say i really enjoyed it. I felt so cosy inside with the stove on, the bed was very comfy and so many beautiful views around. I really enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

I had a fantastic stay at Portsalon Luxury Camping! The accommodations were cozy and well-equipped, offering stunning views of the surrounding nature. When we go to Ireland, one of our favorite places to stay is at Portsalon Luxury Camping in county Donegal. All 4 Mongolian yurts are placed in a way that you can't see the other ones when staying there, have really comfy beds and they all have a cute little stove to keep you warm when/if you need it ? ||So if you want to stay somewhere a bit more isolated, without wifi (so bring a book or a game), without electricity in the yurt itself (so bring a torch or lamp on batteries) and just want some quiet time, go book a yurt with Helen & Séan.||Very nice places nearby to go to:|- Ramelton (go to the The Blue Goat)|- Letterkenny (have a tour or a beer at Kinnegar Brewing)|- Rathmullan (grab a pizza at the Pavilion)|- Ballymastocker Strand
