We have just enjoyed 3 nights celebrating my 40th birthday in a superior yurt at Dukeries Retreat, and we had the best glamping experience we have ever had. The site is lovely, the owners are very friendly and welcoming, the pizza oven is great, the yurt is luxury and clean (super comfy bed!) and it's also dog friendly! In addition, The Chequers Inn food is fantastic and with the discount card you get 20% off your meal. ||We will definately visit again. ||Wood, kindling and firelighters are provided (great touch) but beware this is at a cost. We spent £25 to have the hot tub heated prior to our arrival and an extra £50 on the items to keep the hot tub usable all weekend, so perhaps would bring our own firewood next time to keep the cost down ?

This place is amazing! Luxury yurts with everything you could need (even electric heaters which unfortunately came in handy in August)! The kitchen areas are so well appointed, clean, and contemporary. They have all crockery, cutlery, glassware, and oven, hob, and every pan you might need. The wood fired hot tubs are fabulous and Dukeries provide logs and firelighting equipment (extras at a small cost). The larger yurts have their own toilets and showers within their decking area. The large field is great for the kids to play on. |I couldn't rate this place more highly and will be delighted to visit again.

An absolutely wonderful site with excellent amenities. We spent 4 nights in a superior yurt. Everything was really well thought out, & the staff were friendly & accommodating. We had a tiny issue & it was sorted out within minutes of reporting it.||The only slight downside was the road noise - which we understand is out of the owners control & wasn't a massive issue, just unexpected.||The bed was extremely comfortable & it was great to have dog beds supplied too. When we return, I'll definitely pack an eye mask as the yurt let's in light & I prefer dark conditions for sleep.||We will return & will definitely recommend Dukeries to others.

Me and family have just returned from a fantastic break at Dukeries Retreat. We booked the whole site between us.
We were all blown away by how beautiful the yurts and site are but also the attention to detail was amazing. We had everything you could need and more. It was also immaculately clean.
The fire pit with the circular seating, hot tubs, communal marquee, park, en-suite bathrooms were some of the extra special touches at Dukeries
We had such a great time we’ve already booked for next year

Dukeries retreat was everything we wanted for a short get away with the kids! The site was so clean and comfortable, I swear the bed was more comfy than my own at home! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, hot tub was clean and so much fun for the whole family. I also really appreciated the field and playground so we could relax while the kids played. |I’ll definitely be returning next summer!

Spot on glamping site. Couldn’t fault a thing the owners have thought of everything and it was spotlessly clean ! Superb outdoor kitchen and we loved BBQing and using the pizza oven. The hot tub was fantastic too. Great location - close to Clumber park and Sherwood Forest and we enjoyed a lovely Indian meal which is 5 mins walk away in the village. The kids loved playing sports on the grass and making new friends and playing on the playground ! We will be back! Debs, Chris, poppy, Harriet, jasper and Henry.

The attention to detail from bubbles in the fridge, to balloons in our yurt, to making sure our wood fired jacuzzi was just right, was second to none, just some of the few things that Samuel did to make our stay amazing. The yurts are impeccable, from the fluffiest duvets and pillows to the hot water bottles on the bed, the bathrooms and kitchen are all well equipped and Sam was on hand if we needed him. Highly recommend Dukeries Retreat to friends and family looking for a lovely glamping break away. We will be back!

Amazing get away, loved the private hot tube on the deck, tent was so clean and spacious, bathroom facilities were very clean and looked after. Amazing time had would rebook again. |A little advice for the hot tub- light it in the morning and tend to the wood throughout the day, takes hours to heat and even then it was never smoking hot when it was lit all day for the evening
