My son has absolutely loved camp Timberlee from 4th grade through high school! A chance to enjoy being a kid & enjoy all the good old, phone free summer days as kids should!! It’s tough these days in a digital, over connected yet isolating virtual world that seems to easily capture their attention. We love that at Timberlee, kids get to live life to the fullest & have a chance to explore wonder as we’ll explore who is God among safe adults & friends new+old. We value camp Timberlee’s impact on our son’s development into a young man with excellent values!

I recently went with the middle school kids from Zion Lutheran and we had a blast! There was severe weather one day and the staff made sure we were all safe and sheltered. And since a few of our activities were cancelled due to the weather, some of their employees volunteered to teach them the following day for us! All of the staff was friendly and engaging with the kids. The food was good and plentiful too! Can't wait to go back next year!

Absolutely amazing camp! I went to Timber-lee with Camp WOW and the Diocese of Rockford and we had the best time. The food is the best camp food I have ever had (especially the French Fries), the cabins were clean and spacious(I stayed in Ponderosa), the grounds and facilities are well kept and look amazing. There is a lot of wildlife all around the camp as well! I saw some deer, and a very large bird. My favorite places are the low ropes course, the game room(Acorns), the leather shop, and the creation walk(it is museum quality). I also really like the Redwood Commons and Cross Timbers. Thank you Timber-lee for being so amazing to us!!

Great camp! Truly felt the holy spirit move through the kids in my youth group when I went with my church. Lots of fun activities for the winter and the food was great. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Check out the nature center!

This was a great place to camp at. Very beautiful scenery and peaceful. Only downfall was the walking. You have to wear a good pair of walking shoes to get around the 600 acre land. The cabins were pretty decent. I went with middle schoolers and they definitely had enough stuff to do. I’d go back.

This little slice of heaven on earth was just what me and my daughter needed! We learned survival skills, animals facts of all sorts, math, patience, teamwork, independence, astrology, and so much more. The staff was absolutely fantastic with educating and accommodating us with our entire experience. My daughter hopes to work at Camp Timber-Lee when she gets older because she loved it so much. Thank you all for this opportunity! This place had a good thing going.

North Prairie Fire Department AUXILIARY prepare a fun hot meal for those wonderful kids at Burn Camp!! After all is cleaned up, AUXILIARY members interact in Several of the camp activities. FUN was had by all !! Thank You to all who participated 🙂

Visited this place with a group of motorcyclists to give the kids there, a motorcycle ride around the camp.
Was impressed with the camp counselors, so attentive to the kids, even the shy ones.
You could just tell, these people working there enjoy their jobs, and care for the kids.
Was lucky enough to get a bracelet made by one of the campers.
