Yurt was much better than expected. Dealt with at least two dozen employees in various capacities and all were super friendly and helpful. Shuttle service took us back and forth to multiple locations with little wait time and always affable.

From the overflowing trash at the restroom/ice/laundry in the building behind us not picked up until after noon Tuesday, to the broken safe that took over an hour and calling engineering 2x to fix woth guys showing up without tools, or a battery, or a replacement safe, leaving us stuck waiting to secure our belongings, to not providing coffee pods when our room was serviced to the registration desk girl legitimately asleep when we arrived to check in at 6pm, our experience left some to be desired. I particularly enjoyed the special lake view of the thicket (registration girl said we got because we requested lake view), to the shuttle that had an hour at 9am, it was overall pretty disappointing for what I paid and had imagined.||The cabin itself was cute and nicely decorated. Would have preferred cotton to cheap polyester sheets. It was just…ok. Not sure I would return again.

Awesome experience! I stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin with my mom for Mother’s Day and it was perfect! The attention to detail across the entire property is amazing. My dog loved it as well. Great fenced dog park. Small beach for swimming.

There were no cooking facilities. I was told we would have dishes and silverware, but no cooking utensils. We had nothing! I called guest services and they brought us 2 dishes and 2 forks. We asked for ice, and they told us they would bring it. After one hour, I called again but no answer. I also requested lakeside when I made the reservation , we could see the lake, but we were not close. All in all, the accommodations were cute and rustic, but not practical.

This was our first glamping experience. The tent was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, bed extremely comfortable and big. Despite it being hot outside (upper 80s) the AC inside was just able to keep up with the temperature, keeping temp inside at 70-71. Not sure how it would do when the temperatures outside are in 100s. The water had a strong flow and the bathroom was spacious. Toilet room is separate and big as well. Despite there being myriads of bugs outside, the netting did a very good job keeping them outside. We did not experience any mosquitoes or spiders inside of the tent. There is a refrigerator inside to cool your items, and there are plenty of towels for a family of four. The staff was very friendly. Checking in and checking out was a breeze. Big Cedar introduced an Uber-like shuttle service. It makes it very simple and fast to go anywhere, including from Long Creek to Big Cedar. There is also a fantastic infinity pool overlooking Table Rock lake. The pool was surrounded by colorful flowers, plentiful, chairs, and lots of towels. They were never more than 20 people using the pool and experience was very calm and relaxing. Glamping tents are located right next to the pool, which makes it very easy to go back-and-forth in case you forget an item. From food options, there is a small canteen that serves simple foods, such as burgers, hotdogs, chicken sandwiches. We also booked a fishing trip out of Table Rock marina so we were able to walk outside of our tent and walk 30 seconds to our departure point. It was extremely convenient for an expedition that started at 7 AM. One thing to keep in mind is that this is the middle of the woods so at night time you will hear all kinds of animal stomping, rustling crawling, and screeching right next to you. There are no doors and no solid walls on the tent. So all animal noises are very pronounced at night. If you’re a light sleeper, or get unnerved easily, keep this in mind. There are also lots of bugs right outside of the tent, so expect to see spiders, lizards, and even some water bugs. Provided you keep the zippers closed at all times, you should see no issues with him crawling in.

The location was lovely. My grandmother and i stayed in one of the studio cabins. Friendly staff. Just a few complaints. When requesting more coffee and toilet paper, room service never showed. The bath tub floor was uneven and a slip hazard. Especially for an elderly person. The sliding bathroom door needs a door handle. Part of the drapes were in disrepair and the kitchen trash can could be bigger.

Here is what you need to know. Camp Long Creek belongs to Big Cedar Lodge, so all the amenities you would want from Bog Cedar are available if you stay here. There are two other properties nearby and look like they would belong to Big Cedar but do not. The camp is good. More like glamping. About a 5-6 minute drive to Big Cedar property from here.
