This is an old review but stayed here back Aug 25th, 2017 fleeing Hurricane Harvey from Corpus Christi. Arrived around 3am & stayed at one of the last campsites with our 2 dogs because we had no where to go. It was a fun adventure tying a hammock from the truck to the fence. ?

We stayed here while waiting to close on my home. I honestly didn’t want to leave and thought maybe RV living is the way to go! The staff is amazing, friendly, and works hard to keep the grounds and facilities clean and well maintained. Merry was so kind and helpful when my closing was delayed, and was able to extend our stay. I highly recommend this KOA Leander.

Very well kept. One of the nicer KOA I've been too. I stayed during 2024 eclipse so prices were overpriced. And they did not fill all spots.
Its ave. size and grounds are well maintained. I didn't get to use pool but people were regularly. Buildings, laundry well kept. So overall it was pretty good.

This KOA has great facilities, staff and is located in a safe, convenient access to the interstate. Stores and other services are close by but still far enough we didn't have to be in an urban environment at camp. We LOVED KOA LEANDER/ NW AUSTIN!!!!

During the week of the eclipse we had just come from Wisconsin all the way down to Texas for a family vacation.
The campsite we were originally suppose to stay at was no longer an option. Now stranded in Texas, we called around hoping to find a campsite to take us in knowing it would be tough considering the eclipse was coming up.
Thankfully this KOA had openings. The staff that helped us with our very last minute booking were very nice.
The grounds were beautifully kept, bathrooms were clean, and the events during the week were thoughtful and fun.

Clean, comfortable camping with convenient access to 35 and 183 outside of Austin. Friendly staff, clean amenities. Great stay.

We had an amazing experience here during the 2024 Solar Eclipse! The owner is so friendly and she was willing to work with us from making reservations a year in advance, to helping get us bedding the day of. We especially enjoyed the nightly activities including s'mores around the campfire and live music. If you are in the Austin area, you should absolutely come to visit.

This KOA is very clean and well-maintained - inside and out. The location is convenient and the staff is very professional, helpful and friendly. The camp ground has a lot of great amenities and everything is spotless. I would stay here again, and highly recommend to others!
