I just came for the lake access, and the service was great. The owners were extremely kind. They offer paddle boards for rent, free pool floats as long as you bring them back, and more! It was such a beautiful area and will definitely be going back. I can’t speak on the rooms because I didn’t stay- but they said there are hot showers!

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.||My daughter and I spent the afternoon swimming and then watched the sunset! Beautiful…||We were able to purchased charcoal and ice from their onsite shop. ||The bathrooms and showers are basic but perfectly adequate.

This is my favorite lakeside park in Austin and I’ve been coming here for years! They are open later then city run parks, meaning you actually get to enjoy the sunset with many comfortable spots to relax. The recent renovations that have been made are amazing and they are really headed in a good direction. A little bit of marketing and this place will be a top spot in Texas in no time! Love it!

Beautiful view! Lots of lawn chairs on a small deck, on the grass, picnic tables, even a porta potty! Lots of room to throw a ball, kick a soccer ball around. Close to the water. Outdoor chess board, connect four! Great place for a date!

This place is definitely like a small hidden gem ! I’ve visited Austin several times and never knew of this place. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. This place has some very nice amenities and cute picture areas . You can tell that he really keeps up with the park . It was clean , calm, and just a beautiful scenery. Went here with friends and had a great time ! Definitely will be back ! Beautiful place to view the sunset as well !

It’s under new management. The bathrooms are nicer and there are a lot more comfy lawn chairs. Plus, they’ve added some games and nice playground stuff for the kids. They still do overnight camping.

This place has been my fortress of solitude for two decades. Part of me doesn’t want to see it get too crowded, but then I also don’t want to see it go bankrupt and get sold. It’s a hidden gem. Go enjoy it. The sunsets are spectacular and they let you stay and enjoy that sunset until well after dark unlike the state park next door.

Loved this place before. My friends and I have been camping here 3 yrs in a row. Unfortunately this years camping trip wasn’t as great as previous years. The views and water are amazing but this year the new owners weren’t very welcoming. The first camp site they showed us was perfect and while he’s showing us it he gets a call and mid way through showing us he says oh sorry this one was just rented lol. There was absolutely no one out there at the time and we rented a spot for 2 days over the 2 days one couple did get the one spot but none of the others right next to it. We were told we couldn’t get any of those spots and then we had to get one that was very close to the entrance. During the complete weekend i lost count of how many times he came over and said the music that was playing (we were all sitting around a table talking over the music with no problem) was too loud. He then came Saturday night and was like we can refund you guys if you have a problem. Mind you we had a 6, 8, and 10 yr old and 2 couples in their mid 30s. We weren’t partying or being loud whatsoever but continued to be interrupted while camping. The previous years camping here were so awesome and we had more people the other 2 yrs with absolutely no complaints from the owners. This year we didn’t have the fun we were used to and not to leave this out but when we were paying for a camping spots it took the new owner and i guess his wife a solid 30 min to figure out how to charge us and then said we were getting a “deal” after we did the math it was 20$ over what they originally told us. Won’t be back unfortunately because it is such a nice place to go for the views.

Amazing view and water access even with the water being so low. Nice clean but deep water. The air conditioning bathrooms are an amazing touch. The owner/manger was extremely polite and didn’t bother me one bit. I highly recommend this place!
