We were planning on camping at a family camp but due to some unforeseen last minute changes we had to find a new place to camp with a days notice. I began to search the area and found this gem. They had a few spots open and we booked a 3 night stay to tent camp. This campground is super nice and clean. Highlights are a clean swimming lake with trampoline no motor boats, the beach isn't awesome it's usually kinda wet and not deep but the water is nice and the kids spent a ton of time here. There are a few fishing docks but the fishing wasn't good in this lake it didn't seem. The main office has a nice camp store with souvenirs, drinks, snacks and trinkets. They also sell pizzas and ice cream. There is a nice game room and a TV with lots of seats to lounge in. There was a pop corn machine but I never saw any popcorn. I forgot to ask why but it would have been awesome to have fresh popcorn during our stay. The staff was super nice and friendly. Bathrooms are super clean. Great spots to camp in the north woods!

OK positives 1st: pretty area; close to bike paths and downtown 25 minute bike ride; fun gaming in office and ice cream; clean sites and bathrooms; clean sand beach, lake with many docks. Negatives: it's overpriced unless you choose seasonal; they say they have cable(so called 64 channels), and wifi. We got 16 channels, 3 were shopping channels. Wifi good luck! Two Wi-Fi to choose from if you can get on. I could never get it at night. It was hit or miss. Way too many people here! Also think I was overcharged. Receipt after deposit said one thing, then ending didn't add up, even with adding firewood. We only spent 3 nights out of the week planned. Bad weather was coming, and without internet or cable, stuck in rv is a no. We still had to pay for a full week. Even with tornado watch on calendar. We won't be back. Too much money to not know if the weather will cooperate. And we live on VA disability month to month. But risky for us. But if money isn't an issue, go for it. Also I'm pretty sure the only fish left in that lake is pan. Worst fishing I've ever had up north. That was my "not again" moment.

This is the perfect up north destination! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, the people are beyond helpful and super friendly. We will definitely be back and recommend to all of our friends.

Magnificent time at this beautiful campsite! A group of 14 and there was swimming, fishing, games, pizza, campfires cooking—just a perfect time and we hope to return soon!

We enjoy camping at Camp Holiday very much.
Great beach, clean sites, bathrooms, playground for kids great location to things.

We had a wonderful time at Camp Holiday. It is a nice blend of nature and camping amenities. The bathrooms were very clean and accessible. The swimming beach is great with a sandy bottom. We kayaked on the lake - very peaceful. The lodge has anything conceivable that you might need, including a large screen with collection of DVD's (think rain,) free game room and pizzas and ice cream for sale. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not encounter any noise problems, and we were there over the 4th of July. The trail leading to the bike trails is started, but not yet paved. This will be a nice amenity. There is wifi available, but works better in the lodge than at the campsite. We will be back.

Just got a tent campsite. Site was expensive but definitely the nicest bathrooms I've ever seen at a campground.
